This project proposes a renovation to an existing hotel, the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare. The project focuses on introducing daylighting and natural ventilation systems, making vertical circulation through the amenity spaces dynamic and integrated, and introducing a series of landmark objects within the interior to create an exciting spatial experience and aid in wayfinding. The guest room concept focuses on creating unitized stack effects to ventilate each room, with solar hot water integrated into the facade design. New amenity spaces were introduced, including a spa and expanded exercise facilities, to enhance the guest experience
